Live Routt United Volunteer Network
Volunteer in Routt County
Volunteering has huge benefits not only for non-profit organizations but also for the volunteer. Volunteering is personal. When you give your time and talents you make friends who share your values. You are enriched with a sense of community and neighborliness. And you are proud of yourself because you made a positive difference.
Community Thanksgiving Dinner (Thanksgiving Day):
This is a great volunteering opportunity! It is our big Community Thanksgiving Dinner when 50-70 volunteers come together to serve warm home cooked meals to 500 individuals and families in need.
Day of Caring (3rd Wednesday of the year):
Day of Caring is a 1/2-day event when hundreds of volunteers are matched with projects at over 30 local non-profits. Once the projects are completed, volunteers gather for a complementary lunch at Howelsen Hill.
Routt United Volunteer Network
In addition to Routt County United Way’s events and programs, we are the county's volunteer hub. All year fellow nonprofits ask us to identify and secure volunteers to help them meet their missions and serve the common good.
